iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus

Apple releases a new iPhone every year. This year, the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to be released. Some major changes are expected in the new generation. A recent report has revealed details about the device’s chipset, RAM, and WiFi. You can read about it in this post.

iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus details (leaked)

Tech analyst Jeff Pu has shared information about the chipset, RAM, and Wi-Fi for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

According to the report, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could be powered by the A18 processor. This processor could be more powerful and based on a 3-nanometer process.

According to the leak, the iPhone 16 could feature 8GB of RAM. This would be 2GB more than the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could support Wi-Fi 6E. This feature is currently available on the iPhone 15 Pro model.

It should be noted that Wi-Fi 6E will be capable of delivering faster speeds, lower latency, and better connectivity than previous iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models.

As for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, they could feature the A18 Pro chip. This chip could be equipped with the Qualcomm X75 modem.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could use the Qualcomm X70 modem.

iPhone 16 series details (potential)

According to a recent report, all models in the iPhone 16 series could feature a capacitive action button. This could be different from the mechanical button found on the current iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. This means that the new action button could work similarly to the Touch ID home button on older iPhones or the Force Touch trackpad on recent MacBooks.

According to information from internal documents, the action button has the codename Atlas, which is a force sensor. This can help to understand pressure and provide “tactile switching functionality.” Additionally, details of a capture button have also emerged for the iPhone 16 series. This could be similar to the action button.
