Xiaomi has rolled out the HyperOS-based Android 14 operating system for Poco F5 users in India. The update brings a number of new features for users, including new animations, a redesigned weather app, and streamlined notifications.
The update is rolling out to all Indian Poco F5 users in a phased manner. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > System > System updates.

Poco F5 has received a new update. This update has been spotted in multiple screenshots shared by tipsters. The latest update has a firmware number of 1.0.5.0.UMRINXM and is a whopping 5GB in size. Users should make sure they have a good network connection before installing this update.
HyperOS-based Android 14
The update brings a number of changes to the Poco F5. Previously, the phone received a number of security patches in December 2023. However, those patches have now been removed. The Poco F5, which originally shipped with Android 13, will now run on HyperOS-based Android 14.
