Samsung Galaxy XCover7

Samsung has launched two new rugged devices in Korea: the Galaxy XCover7 smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active5 tablet. Both devices are MIL-STD-810H military-grade rated, meaning they can withstand extreme conditions.

The Galaxy XCover7 is shockproof up to 1.5 meters and has a large 6.6-inch display, a Dimensity 6100+ processor, and a 50MP rear camera.

The Galaxy Tab Active5 is also shockproof up to 1.5 meters and has a 5,050mAh battery. It comes with a removable battery, so you can have a backup battery on hand if you need it.

Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Specifications

  • Display: The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 has a 6.6-inch TFT LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
  • Processor: The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor with Mali G57 GPU.
  • Storage: The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
  • Camera: The phone has a 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, there is a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
  • Battery: The Galaxy XCover7 has a 4,050mAh battery with 15W fast charging, USB Type-C port, and POGO pin for charging.
  • Other features: The phone has IP68 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H military standard, Dolby Atmos, and 3.5mm audio jack.
  • Dimensions and weight: The phone weighs 240 grams and measures 169.0 × 80.1 × 10.2 mm.
  • Connectivity: The phone has dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and USB 2.0 port.
  • Operating system: The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 runs on Android 14-based OneUI.
  • Security: The phone has face unlock and Samsung Knox with Samsung Knox Vault for security.
  • Price: Samsung has not yet announced the price of the Galaxy XCover7. The device will be available in select markets at the end of this month. The price and availability will be announced soon.
